Job summary

You will collaborate across Strain Engineering, Fermentation, Analytical, and downstream teams to advance enzyme applications and bioprocess design. The candidate should have strong protein chemistry and enzymology expertise, with experience in enzyme kinetics,

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical/Biological Engineering or related field.
• 0-3 years of experience with Ph.D., or 5+ years with M.S.
• Demonstrated expertise in protein chemistry and enzymology.

Responsibilities

• Advance enzyme technology initiatives in chemistry/biochemistry enzymology.
• Lead and manage research projects from concept to completion.
• Support enzyme-based programs through troubleshooting and analytical work.
• Develop and optimize new enzymes and enzymatic processes for industrial use.
• Design experiments using DOE methodologies and software tools.
• Communicate progress via reports and presentations.
