Qualifications

• Associate's, bachelor’s, or master’s degree in environmental science or related field from an accredited university.
• 1+ years of relevant environmental experience.
• Methodical problem-solving to complete tasks independently.
• Excellent verbal communication with clients and team members.
• Excellent technical written communication; good report writing with MS Office tools.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform GPS navigation to remote project sites.
• Attend site inspections, investigations, and monitoring.
• Collect surface water and groundwater data using approved methods.

• Review, prepare, and modify engineering designs.

With guidance from a professional engineer and our global practice network, your responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:

• GPS navigation to remote project sites
• Regularly attend site inspections, investigations, and monitoring
• Surface water flow measurements and groundwater sampling using approved methodologies
• Actively participating in project, client and team meetings
• Reviewing, preparing, and modifying designs
• Analyzing reports, specifications, and studies
• Undertaking a 'digital by default' approach in deliverables
• Actively participating in our Early Careers Professionals Network

We are looking for full or part-time candidates with a genuine passion to create sustainable social outcomes for our communities and a desire to strive for excellence.

To be considered for this 2026 position, you’ll need:

• An associate's, bachelor's, or master's degree in environmental science, or a related field, with a focus on environmental science from an accredited university
• 1+ years of relevant experience
• Methodical approach to problem solving to undertake tasks efficiently and independently
• Excellent verbal communication skills, which allow you to confidently liaise with clients and team members
• Excellent technical written communication and attention to detail, with an ability to demonstrate good report writing through use of Microsoft or equivalent production software
• Excellent teamwork skills, collaborates effectively with colleagues
• Demonstrable interest in environmental projects through relevant experience, such as your field of study, internships, volunteering, or relevant association memberships is considered an asset
• A valid Driver's License and a passing pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
• Ability to safely stoop, lift, crawl, climb, and walk as necessary to navigate uneven terrain and obstacles on active construction sites.
• Ability to safely operate a 4x4 vehicle in on/off road conditions

• Have or be willing to train and acquire Steel Tank Institute (STI) SP001 AST (Aboveground Storage Tank) Inspection certification or equivalent.
• Must have current certification or attend training to obtain current MSHA 30 CFR 46 or 48 Health and Safety Certification
• Certified Erosion, Sediment and StormWater Inspector (CESSWI) and (Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control) CPESC certifications or permitting experience are a plus
