Scientist III - Analytical Chemist - FSP

We are looking to fill a Scientist 3 – Analytical Chemist (Raw Materials) position working as a full-time employee of Parexel FSP on a long-term assignment onsite at our client in Rahway, NJ. This position offers full benefits, sick time, 401K, paid holidays, and paid time off. The position does not offer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct raw materials release testing, cleaning validation, and verification testing using methodologies including separations sciences in a GMP laboratory.

Qualifications

• B.S./M.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology, or similar life sciences.
• Scientist 3: B.S. with 3-5 years of relevant experience or M.S. with 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Required Skills and Experience

• Understanding of analytical method development and validation.
• Hands-on experience with chromatographic analysis (UPLC, HPLC, GC).
• Knowledge of separations science.
• GMP compliance and ALCOA documentation principles.
• Experience with Empower chromatographic software.
• Experience with FTIR and UV-VIS spectroscopic analyses.
• Experience with raw materials release per USP/NF.
• Experience with cleaning validation/verification.
• Troubleshooting skills for HPLC and GC methods and systems.

• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills with excellent communication.
