• Upstream group - cell culture development experience
• Bio reactor operations - Ambr15, ambr250 etc.
• Bench-scale experimentation experience
• Prefer experience statistical software Jump, Excel, Simca (preferred/plus) ****
• Perfusion experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within the Upstream group on bench-scale experimentation for fed-batch and perfusion processes.
• Design and conduct experiments, perform data analysis, and interpret results independently.
• Present data and results within department and project teams.
• Author internal procedures and technical reports.
• Contribute to project teams for knowledge and technology transfer to pilot scale or commercial manufacturing.
• Set-up and maintain upstream laboratory equipment, systems, and training.
  
  

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• Degrees & Experience:
• PhD/Master's (Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry) with 0-1 years relevant industry experience.
• OR Bachelor's (Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry) with 3+ years relevant industry experience.
• Ambr15, ambr250, DeltaV, high throughput screening experience
• Process Expertise: Fed-batch, Perfusion, Bench-scale experimentation, Data Analysis, Experiment Design.
• Technical Skills: Technical Reporting, Procedure Authoring, Laboratory Equipment handling.
• Legal: Permanent US Work Authorization with no visa sponsorship needed now or in the future.
• Bioprocessing: Cell Culture, Bioreactor, Protein Expression.
  

Nice-to-Haves

• Industry Experience: Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical Industry, Pilot/Manufacturing Scale Biologics.
• Bioprocess Knowledge: Bioreactor Design/Control, Scale-up/down, Mammalian Cell Culture.
• Analytical/Soft Skills: Statistical Analysis, Technical Presentation, Cross-functional/site teams, Independent Work.
