Scientist I – Subvisible Particulate
What You Will Do
- Perform training and complete all required training elements.
- Prepare and analyze samples in accordance with established and controlled procedures.
- Evaluate and interpret data and author reports independently.
- Serve as technical liaison between sales personnel and customers.
- Perform quality‑related instrumentation and ancillary equipment testing.
- Review and write laboratory procedures.
- Aid the lab in maintaining quality KPIs, including on‑time reporting and report accuracy.
- Order and inventory materials to maintain supplies.
- Coordinate with instrument vendors for service needs.
- Lead documentation and testing for annual preventative maintenance and qualifications of assigned instrumentation.
- Troubleshoot instrumentation, assist in bringing new instrumentation and methods online.
- Assist in audits and communicate with auditors as needed.
- Comply with cGMP regulations and laboratory safety standards.
- Execute particulate counting and sizing analysis for a variety of drug products in compliance with cGMP guidelines.
- Author technical documents including test methods, protocols, reports, and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure GMP compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a natural science.
- Experience with light obscuration or microscopy counting preferred.
- Experience with GDP (Good Documentation Practices) preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, capable of working independently and in a team.
- Able to balance multiple timelines in a fast‑paced environment.

Benefits and Compensation
- Competitive base salary (USD $51,000 to $65,000 per year in Gibsonia, PA).
