Guardant Health, Inc. seeks a Scientist I in Sustain & Support to assure reliability of on-market assays. You will investigate clinical lab failures, strengthen reagent QC, and support validations in a regulated quality system, coordinating with Clinical Operations, Bioinformatics, and Manufacturing.

You will use Python/Jupyter to analyze data, perform root-cause investigations, and contribute to NCRs and change-control documentation while enabling efficient tech transfer into production.

Formación

• PhD in Molecular Biology, Genomics, Biochemistry or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong foundation in molecular biology, including experience with NGS library preparation and target enrichment.
• Experience operating NGS instruments in medium- to high-throughput environments.
• Experience with data analysis using Python/Jupyter and SQL/LIMS data sources.

Responsabilidades

• Draft and execute verification and validation protocols and manage change-control packages.
• Operate and troubleshoot NGS workflows end to end from sample prep to sequencing.
• Analyze assay QC, sequencing data, and operational data using SQL and LIMS.
• Present technical findings and risk-benefit tradeoffs to leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Support the clinical laboratory post-transfer and contribute to NCRs and change controls.
