Job Description

Are you a motivated histotechnologist seeking a position in a highly collaborative, dynamic environment within a company that values a great culture? This could be an excellent opportunity for you! We are looking for an individual to perform histology for immunology drug discovery programs. The successful candidate will support research activities in target validation, target distribution, animal model development, pharmacology, and exploratory safety studies. Attention to detail is critical. Key activities include routine histology (e.g., tissue trimming, processing, embedding, and sectioning of paraffin-embedded and frozen tissues), histochemical staining, and immunohistochemistry (IHC). Additional responsibilities involve using computer-based laboratory tracking systems such as Sample Manager and Dream Path, and working creatively with novel tissues or challenging pathology endpoints. The candidate must be able to independently schedule and prioritize workload to manage multiple tasks effectively. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with typically 5 years of experience, or Master's Degree or equivalent with approximately 2 years of experience in Biology, Chemistry, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Histotechnologist Certification (HTL)
• HT (ASCP) certification
• Experience with tissue grossing, embedding, FFPE, and OCT sectioning
• Experience with advanced molecular techniques, including spatial transcriptomics platforms
• 3-5 years of experience in a histology/pathology laboratory
