• Define process chemistry parameters and evaluate samples to meet chemical cleaning objectives.
• Perform analysis and interpret lab results of elemental and morphological characteristics, benchmarking against industry data, and maintain a database.
• Collect customer data, perform statistical analysis, write reports, and interface with customers.
• Strong computational and reasoning abilities.
• Good technical writing skills and experience with Excel.

Your Opportunity

This full-time role offers the chance to make an impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills as part of an innovative team in Lynchburg, VA, working in the Chemistry Material Center laboratory and supporting the Chemistry and BOP Services Product Line. You will perform analytical chemistry assignments, operate lab equipment such as ICP-MS, XRF, XRD, FTIR, and conduct standard and complex tasks under supervision, ensuring quality and safety. The position may require working around radioactive or corrosive chemicals, with appropriate PPE. Typical hours are 7:30 AM to 4 PM, with potential overtime, in office, laboratory, or nuclear plant environments, often requiring protective clothing.

Your Total Rewards Package

The salary range is $65,000 - $84,000, potentially including incentives, bonuses, and benefits. Compensation varies based on qualifications, skills, and location.
