Pro Staff is seeking a Scientist in Maple Grove, MN for hands-on formulation development and analytical work supporting advanced drug delivery systems. The role emphasizes laboratory experimentation, data analysis, and documentation in a regulated environment.

The candidate should have a strong wet lab background, experience with HPLC/UPLC/GC/LC-MS and related analytical techniques, and a background in pharmaceutical or regulated product development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 1 year with a Master's degree.
• Strong hands-on laboratory experience and technical writing skills.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology, or regulated product development environments preferred.
• Knowledge of FDA, GMP, GLP, or ISO-regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform laboratory experiments related to formulation development, drug delivery systems, and material characterization.
• Conduct analytical testing using techniques such as HPLC, UPLC, GC, LC/MS, UV-Vis, DSC, TGA, NMR, or similar methods.
• Evaluate drug stability, solubility, physical properties, and drug-excipient interactions.
• Analyze experimental data, prepare technical reports, and maintain accurate laboratory documentation.
• Support method development, validation, release testing, and stability studies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Analytical Sciences.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to scientific and technical problem-solving initiatives.

Pay Rate: $46.50/hour
