Job summary

Integrated Resources, Inc (IRI) is seeking a chemistry/biochemistry professional to produce and analyze fluorescent protein-based products. The role requires experience with bioconjugation chemistry and proficiency in HPLC, FPLC, and gravimetric techniques to purify biomolecules.

The candidate should have strong data interpretation skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work both independently and within teams to meet safety, quality, and project timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology or equivalent.
• Proficient in general chemical and biological laboratory techniques and procedures.
• Experience in one bioconjugation chemistry is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Detail-oriented with good organizational/time management.

Responsibilities

• Produce and analyze fluorescent protein-based products to meet customer requirements and timelines.
• Purify and analyze fluorescent dye-labeled antibodies and biomolecules using HPLC, FPLC, and gravimetric methods.
• Analyze and interpret scientific data; communicate findings to cross-functional teams.
• Support safety, quality, and timely completion of work and collaborate with colleagues across departments.

Job description

• This position requires a bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology or equivalent.
• The successful candidate must possess general chemical laboratory skills, with experience in bioconjugation chemistry.
• Produce and analyze fluorescent protein-based products to meet customer requirements and timelines.
• Use HPLC, FPLC and gravimetric separation techniques to purify and analyze fluorescent dye labeled antibodies and other biomolecules.
• Analyze and interpret scientific data. Utilize specialized technical knowledge and skills.
• Maintain professional communication with representatives from other departments and teams as required.
• Work to achieve department goals and business objectives for safety, quality, and timely completion of work.

Education

• Minimum of BS/BA Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or related subject area.
• Experience
• Proficient in general chemical and biological laboratory techniques and procedures such as antibody handling purification, pipetting, UV-vis spectroscopy and safe handling of biological materials and chemical.
• Experience in one bioconjugation chemistry is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
