Job summary

A biotechnology R&D firm in Cambridge, Massachusetts seeks a Scientific Project Manager to lead innovative research and development projects. We are seeking a Scientific Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of cross-disciplinary R&D programs. This individual will ensure seamless collaboration between biology, chemistry, formulation, and technology teams, translating scientific strategy into clear milestones and deliverables. The role requires overseeing project timelines, managing external partners, ensuring high-quality data generation, and maintaining alignment between scientific progress and commercial objectives.

You are a scientifically minded leader with strong organizational skills, capable of driving multiple complex projects from concept to execution. You excel at bridging science and operations, thrive in dynamic, interdisciplinary environments, and bring both strategic oversight and hands-on problem-solving. This is a key role with direct impact on multiple innovation pipelines across ODDITY’s consumer-facing brands.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of R&D scientific projects
  • Translate scientific goals into actionable project plans with clear milestones, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Ensure seamless cross-functional collaboration with chemistry, biology, formulation, product, and clinical testing teams.
  • Guide design, execution, and interpretation of in-vitro and ex-vivo assays by internal scientists and CRO partners, ensuring data quality and timely reporting.
  • Manage relationships with CROs, academic collaborators, and technology vendors, including scope definition, budget tracking, and progress monitoring.
WHO YOU ARE
  • Ph.D. or M.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, Toxicology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of industry experience in pharma development, with a focus on PK/PD studies, efficacy, and safety and toxicity evaluation.
  • Experience designing, managing, and interpreting in-vitro (cell-based, skin explant) and in-vivo (animal, human) studies to characterize efficacy, safety, and mechanism of action.
  • Strong knowledge of toxicology principles, dose-response analysis, and safety margins, particularly as applied to skin and hair applications.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for efficacy and safety testing of cosmetic, dermatological, and consumer health products.
  • Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams (biology, chemistry, formulation, clinical testing) and manage external partners (CROs, academic labs) to deliver high-quality data.
  • Strategic, scientifically rigorous, and execution-focused, with the ability to advance multiple innovation programs in a fast-paced consumer beauty and wellness environment.
