The Global Discovery Chemistry is seeking a contractual Scientific Associate to help drive innovation in targeted siRNA delivery. The candidate will be working closely with a team of experts to advance our therapeutics and to drive our understanding of selective delivery of siRNA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Synthesis of oligonucleotides, purification characterization by using appropriate analytical techniques.
  • Synthesis of oligonucleotides conjugates.
  • Phosphoramidite and other reagent inventory management
  • Apply automation or collaborate with an automation expert to improve efficiency


Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Chemistry/ Biochemistry with prior oligonucleotides synthesis experience.
  • Broad experience in analytical techniques for oligonucleotides (ASOs and siRNAs), various oligonucleotides conjugates, including, but not limited to, HPLC-UV/Fluorescence/MS.
  • Skilled with different analytical techniques, HPLC, LC-MS etc.
  • Experience with automated liquid handling/assay automation desirable
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required.


Location: Onsite role San Diego, CA

Pay Rate: $45 - $50/hour based on experience and qualifications (W2 Only)

Contract: 6-month
