The Eastchester School District is seeking a dynamic candidate to fill the probationary position of Science Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year, assigned to both Eastchester High School and Middle School. This is a tenured track position. Candidates should be certified in one science area 7-12: Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry or Physics. Chemistry certification is preferred.

Requirements

• NYS Certification: Earth Science 7-12, Biology 7-12, Chemistry 7-12, Physics 7-12.
• NYSED Fingerprint Clearance*

Employment Terms

• 10-month, full-time probationary position
• Salary range in accordance with the Eastchester Teachers Association (ETA) negotiated salary schedule; $62,620 - $102,000, step placement contingent upon prior related experience.
• Fingerprint Clearance: SAVE Law and related legal requirements for criminal background checks.
