Job Description

The West Chester Area School District has an opening for a secondary level Science Teaching position, requiring appropriate valid PA certification:

1.0 - Middle School Science

To perform this role successfully, the candidate must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with valid PA certification
• Ability to implement a holistic instruction and assessment system based on state academic standards
• Proficiency in instructional technology to enhance student learning
• Ability to design instructional programs addressing racial achievement gaps
• Effective interpersonal skills for collaboration with teachers, administrators, parents, students, and external contacts

*Candidates without a PA teaching certificate must provide a College Verification of Eligibility Letter confirming completion of the certification program and eligibility.
