LISBON SCHOOL DEPARTMENT
SCIENCE TEACHERThe Lisbon School Department is currently seeking a highly qualified 7-12 certified Physical/Life Science Teacher. The successful candidate will demonstrate being student-centered with a strong grasp of content knowledge, including best practices in science instruction, the ability to teach students who have diverse backgrounds, an understanding of standards-based assessment, the ability to use technology in instruction, willingness to be a team player, and support the mission of the school.
Requirements/Experience: The ability to teach a wide range of Physical/Life Science courses in grades 9-12; training and/or experience in a standards-based system; training in Advanced Placement Science courses is a bonus; experience/certification in teaching both Physical and Life Science is a bonus.
