Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or above.
  • Valid South Carolina teacher’s certificate in Elementary or Secondary Science.
  • Alternatives as deemed appropriate by the Board.
  • Individuals with a PACE/Teachers of Tomorrow Statement of Eligibility are encouraged to apply.
Performance Responsibilities:
  1. Meet and instruct assigned classes at designated locations and times.
  2. Plan a program of study that meets students’ individual needs, interests, abilities, and state standards.
  3. Establish and communicate clear objectives for all classroom activities.
  4. Employ a variety of instructional techniques and media suited to the physical environment and student needs.
  5. Use effective classroom management strategies to foster a conducive learning environment.
  6. Implement the District’s educational philosophy and instructional goals.
  7. Take necessary precautions to ensure safety of students, equipment, and facilities.
  8. Maintain accurate and complete records as required by law and policy.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Terms:

190 days. Salary and work year to be determined by the Board.

Evaluation:

Performance will be evaluated according to the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.
