Middle/Upper School Science Teacher

Brookwood School is an independent, coeducational, college-preparatory day school in Thomasville, Georgia, which offers a superior educational opportunity to qualified students. Founded in 1970, Brookwood enrolls approximately 500 students, drawing students from four counties in Southwest Georgia and two counties in North Florida. Brookwood strives to produce an exceptional educational experience by providing excellent teachers, a sound curriculum, and an enriching environment. Brookwood’s mission is to develop the whole child: academically, physically, spiritually, and socially.

We have an opening for a talented and innovative faculty member to teach middle and/or high school science courses. This position will begin for the 2025-26 academic year.

Attributes Required:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Science Education
  2. Full time teaching experience is preferred

  7. Must be proficient in working with students 9th-12th grade

  11. Proficient in the use and integration of technology in the classroom, including the use of Google (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.), MacBook, iPads, and Apple TV Technology
