Rochester Public Schools is seeking a full-time 8th Grade Science teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The position requires a current Minnesota PELSB license appropriate for grades 5-8 and emphasizes serving urban, multicultural students with strong classroom management and engagement strategies.
Salary is prorated based on hire date and education/experience level, with a REA contract for 2025-2027. This role reports to the Willow Creek Principal, and inquiries may be directed to the Office

Prior successful experience in urban, multicultural education desirable and language instruction.
Demonstrates continued professional development through course work, research, peer collaboration, and/or job-embedded staff development.
Working knowledge of the subject matter, classroom management techniques, current researched best practices and strategies, as well as students' learning styles and needs, both academic and affective.
