Job summary

Rochester Public Schools is seeking a full-time 8th Grade Science teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Salary is prorated based on hire date and education/experience level, with a REA contract for 2025-2027. This role reports to the Willow Creek Principal, and inquiries may be directed to the Office

SALARY:

Prorated based upon hire date.

Based on level of education and full years of licensed teaching experience.

REA Contract 2025-2027

QUALIFICATION:

Current Minnesota PELSB license in appropriate area required. Science 5-8

Qualifications:

Prior successful experience in urban, multicultural education desirable and language instruction.

Demonstrates continued professional development through course work, research, peer collaboration, and/or job-embedded staff development.

Working knowledge of the subject matter, classroom management techniques, current researched best practices and strategies, as well as students' learning styles and needs, both academic and affective.
