Role Description

The Science Teacher is a full-time, on-site role located in Queens, NY, responsible for delivering engaging, standards-aligned instruction in science courses for high school scholars. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and implementing lessons that align with New York State Learning Standards, assessing student progress, and providing timely feedback to support academic growth. The Science Teacher designs laboratory activities, demonstrates safe lab practices, and integrates inquiry-based learning to build scientific literacy and critical thinking. The role involves collaborating with colleagues and support staff, participating in professional development, maintaining accurate records, and communicating regularly with families and caregivers. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
