You will develop content, manage campaigns, and translate complex biology topics into accessible messaging for diverse audiences, collaborating with leadership and researchers across the center.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in writing, editing, digital content creation, and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proficiency with common communications, design, and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, edit, and publish website content, social media posts, newsletters, and other communications for scientific audiences.
• Create branded graphics, presentations, and digital assets aligned with Penn State and NCEMS standards.
• Plan campaigns promoting Working Groups, fellowships, internships, workshops, and opportunities.
• Collaborate to translate complex scientific information into clear messaging.
• Maintain websites and communications assets; monitor engagement metrics and suggest improvements.
• Coordinate outreach and event deliverables with stakeholders and center personnel.
