Job summary

Responsibilities

Prepare, assist in developing, perform set-up and clean-up of instructional labs; may include assisting faculty and students during lab experiments, exercises and exams.
Performs annual inventory of lab chemicals and maintains current list of stored chemicals for labs in accordance with regulations; provides SDS information.
Maintains knowledge of lab equipment and safe use/disposal of hazardous materials.
Prepares, tests, adjusts, maintains, calibrates equipment; troubleshoots and arranges for service repairs.
Ensures lab safety and responds to laboratory emergencies; maintains health and safety procedures.
