Job summary

Horry County Schools is seeking a capable driver/stocker to deliver and pick up science kits and materials, and assist in organizing and restocking in a timely, efficient manner.

The role requires a HS Diploma or GED, some experience with science kits, strong communication, and the ability to lift and handle materials. A valid SC driver's license is required for driving a large truck. The position is 220 days per year.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• Experience with science kits preferred.
• Demonstrated written and spoken interpersonal communication.
• Demonstrated proficiency in use of technology.
• Valid South Carolina Driver's License for driving a large vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up science kit materials on a rotation basis.
• Assist with restocking and inventory of science kits and materials.
• Manage paperwork and document deliveries and pickups.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and organization of materials for restocking kits.
• Assist with ordering and delivery of live materials.
• Collaborate with science kit manager on pickups/deliveries.
• Communicate with the science kit manager about deliveries.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
