Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for the subject and level assigned.
  • Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum.
  • Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles.
  • Present subject matter according to TEA guidelines and district policies.
  • Plan and use effective instructional strategies and materials for the class.
  • Assess student learning and adjust instruction based on results.
  • Collaborate with staff and parents to support student progress.
  • Maintain classroom environment conducive to learning and positive behavior.
  • Prepare and supervise activities and assessments as required.
