Overview

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist specializing in pediatric services, beginning March 24th and continuing through the end of the school year. This contract position focuses on providing speech therapy within an elementary school setting, supporting students communication needs with personalized intervention plans.

Location : Grand Rapids, MI

Position Type : Contract, Full-Time (1.0 FTE)

Start Date : March 24th

End Date : End of School Year

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver speech-language pathology services to elementary-aged students
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and reports
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress
  • Utilize basic computer skills for report writing, research, and database management
  • Navigate Medicaid billing processes as applicable
Required Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Current or in-progress Michigan State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Certified member of ASHA
  • Candidates currently in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply
  • Familiarity with Medicaid billing procedures
  • Proficient with computer software related to documentation and research
