Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• ParaPro Exam or 60 college credits meeting state requirements.
• Previous experience working with students and a positive influence in their lives.

Responsibilities

• Maintain student and staff confidentiality.
• Comply with rules and procedures set by the Building Principal.
• Be part of the support team for students and staff.
• Be professional when dealing with students, staff, and parents.
• Support the teacher and related staff in serving students.
• Assist with development and maintenance of a positive work environment.
• Communicate concerns to the administrator or teacher promptly.
• Attend in-services and trainings as required.
• Maintain punctuality and good attendance.
• Request teacher support when needed.
• Communicate important information to the teacher about students.
