Chartwells K-12, part of Compass Group USA, is hiring a part-time Food Service Worker/Cashier for the Sault Sainte Marie location. The role runs Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 11:00 am, with online applications accepted only.

Prior food service experience is preferred, and the position follows the school year calendar. The duties include cashiering, basic food prep, portion control, sanitation, serving customers, and handling cash transactions accurately.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs cashiering duties and handles cash transactions.
• Performs prep work washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Stores foods in designated areas and follows food safety procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner and handles customer questions.
