Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate.
• Must be a fluent English speaker.
• May not be employed part or full-time at a test preparation company.
• May not participate in any coaching activity that addresses the content of secure College Board or ACT tests.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a variety of standardized tests at Brookline High School, including but not limited to: PSAT, Pre-ACT, ACT, SAT, AP, ACCESS, and MCAS.
• Attend proctor training (the time and date of the training depend on the exam date; individual training can be arranged according to the proctors' schedules). Monitor exam security.
• Proctor exams according to the official instructions including: distributing exams, reading instructions, monitoring students, collecting and counting exams, keeping exam materials secure until returning them to the test coordinator.
• For digital exams, proctors will need to assist students in logging into the testing platform and monitoring student progress digitally.
• Proctors may also be asked to monitor hallways and provide breaks to room proctors during testing.
• Contact the test coordinator immediately for any concerns before, during, and after the exam.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the test coordinator.
