Job summary

Point Quest, Inc. is hiring School Van Drivers in Sacramento, CA. The role offers full-time hours with split shifts: 4:00 AM/5:30 AM–9:00 AM and 1:30 PM–6:00 PM, Monday–Friday. You’ll transport students safely to school and activities, manage student behavior, and complete daily logs.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license with a clean DMV record, and a background check plus TB clearance. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

Reliable, patient, and safety-focused driver with experience around students.
Ability to read maps or GPS directions and follow routes.

Responsibilities

Safely operate school vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations.
Monitor and supervise students to ensure a safe environment during transit.
Assist with loading/unloading and securement of students, incl. wheelchairs when needed.
Complete daily logs including attendance, behavior, and fuel tracking.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
Transport students to/from school and related activities; support program needs.
Perform program-related errands as required; utilize GPS/maps for timely routes.
