Job summary

First Student, Inc. in Coos Bay, OR is hiring a School Van Driver to transport students to and from school. This non-CDL role offers on-the-job training, a starting wage of $18.00 per hour, and guaranteed hours, with no night or weekend shifts.

You will support safe daily routing, perform pre/post trip inspections, and assist students with boarding and exiting the vehicle while using our technology to guide routes. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Good verbal communication skills.
• At least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
• Be subject to a drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Get students to and from school safely.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Assist with boarding and exiting the bus.
