Title: SCHOOL VAN DRIVER

Primary Function:
Performs routine driving duties transporting students to and from assigned schools in a 7-passenger van or automobile. Selected candidates must complete training and pass a physical exam, drug testing and background checks. Training will be provided by the Transportation Department.
Minimum Qualifications:
Area Supervisor – Transportation. Each driver shall be directly responsible to the principal of the school(s) served on matters related to student discipline and patron relations.
As needed. Workshop/in-service as required. Salary according to the School Board Pay Plan.
Performance on this job will be evaluated in accordance with school board policy and administrative regulations on evaluation of non-licensed personnel.
