Job summary

Allegheny Transportation Services is seeking drivers to transport clients from pickup to destination in a timely and safe manner, while performing essential pre-trip inspections and ensuring DOT compliance. The role requires professionalism, punctuality, and the ability to manage student behavior during routes.

We offer part-time opportunities with flexible hours, including evening and split shifts. Training is available, and CDL training may be provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must pass background check, physical, and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Transport clients from pickup to destination in a timely and safe manner.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure DOT regulations are met.
• Conduct child checks post-route and maintain vehicle logs and safety standards.

Allegheny Transportation Services

A Driver is responsible for transporting clients from their pickup point to their destination in a timely and safe manner. Using a vehicle to successfully transport people, performing pre-trip inspections, performing child checks post-route, and keeping their vehicle within DOT regulations are the most important tasks of the driver.

The candidate must be professional and able to manage student behavior. It is imperative for this candidate to be punctual. The candidate will be required to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening. We will provide training to qualified individuals who meets the standards of being hired. The individual who becomes a van driver can be eligible for CDL training with provisions. If you are seeking a part time work this could be ideal for you. Or are you already in transportation and seeking a friendly and professional atmosphere this could be your change as well.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
