Job summary

FIRST STUDENT INC in Austin, TX is seeking a School Bus Driver to safely transport students to and from school. The starting wage is $19.63 per hour and no prior experience is required as CDL training is provided.

You will work with our technology-assisted routing, perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, and assist students boarding and exiting the bus. The role offers holidays paid, guaranteed hours, and opportunities for additional hours on charter routes.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Be subject to drug screen and physical.

This role requires English proficiency. Federal, state, and local requirements, including U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, require training, safety communications, company policies, employment documents, and other job-related communications be conducted in English.
