Job summary

Irving ISD Transportation seeks a Dispatcher to coordinate daily routes and field trips, dispatch buses, and monitor GPS systems for safe student transport. You will communicate with drivers, answer calls, and manage routing with accuracy and professionalism.

The role is nonexempt and based in Irving, TX, with a 9:00 AM–6:00 PM shift and local reporting structures. Starting Date is To Be Determined.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; CDL/CDL endorsements preferred.
• Texas School Bus Driver Certification preferred; DOT requirements apply.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and random drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily bus routes and field trips with routing staff.
• Dispatch buses, monitor GPS, and communicate with drivers and callers.
• Assist in allocating drivers and vehicles for trips and routes.
• Maintain safe, efficient bus stops and schedules.
