Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent; or two years of transportation experience.
• Must have and maintain a CDL with Passenger and Student endorsements.
• Ability to lift up to ten pounds and sit at a computer for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage CDL Drivers for Catawba County Schools, Newton-Conover City Schools, and Hickory City Schools.
• Schedule DOT physicals, both initial and on-site renewals.
• Schedule Bus License Renewals.
• Collaborate with Human Resources to order DOT drug testing.
• Enroll new Employees in Bus Class and schedule behind-the-wheel training.
• Check Driving records and eligibility.
• Ensure drivers are in compliance with the NCDOT regarding physicals and training.
