Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old with a minimum of three years of driving experience.
• Must have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Must pass state police and DCF background checks; provide a physical and PPD within the past 90 days of hiring.
• Must have a CT driver’s license with a V or S endorsement, or be willing to obtain one.
• CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles safely, follow traffic laws, and ensure seat belt use.
• Provide supervision and safety for clients during transport.
• Maintain punctuality and adhere to schedules.
• Complete required trainings with NCSS and DCF.
• Report problems or concerns about clients or transportation requests.
• Perform pre-trip safety inspections.
• Maintain client confidentiality per policies.
• Coordinate with the DCF Credentialed Services Coordinator.
