Job description

We are looking for a talented School to Work – Supply Chain Planning (Student) to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning for our Cummins Inc. facility in Columbus, IN.


In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:


  • Learn key supply chain operations and support daily business activities.

  • Gather and analyze data from multiple sites to support decisions.

  • Identify trends and opportunities through data analysis.

  • Collaborate with teams to support operational goals.

  • Maintain accurate and reliable supply chain data.

  • Support process improvement initiatives using data-driven insights.

  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office tools to efficiently complete and support business tasks.

  • Adapt quickly and learn new skills in a fast-paced environment.

  • Effectively manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

Education/Experience


  • Must be 16 years of age, in high school or post‑secondary school.

  • No GPA Requirement.


Key Responsibilities


  • Support order lifecycle management for the North America Order Management Team.

  • Balance multiple stakeholders within different divisions of the business.

  • Previous customer service or support skills are preferred.

  • This is a part‑time role, capped at 19 hours per week (averaging just under four hours per day).

  • Transportation is required to and from the office.
