Job summary

ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education seeks a School Therapist to support students academically, socially, and emotionally through individual and group counseling in a Special Education program for grades K-12. The role includes collaboration with educators, parents, and professionals and is based in San Jose and Pacifica.

Starting salary ranges from $71,000 to $80,000 per year, with compensation based on experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in educational counseling, therapy, social work or a closely related field of study.

Responsibilities

• Providing individual and group counseling sessions to help resolve interpersonal or family problems that interfere with school performance, including crisis intervention consultation as needed.
