SCO is seeking a Supportive Counselor to serve transfer high school students at East Brooklyn Community High School (EBCHS). The counselor is typically on-site two to three days per week, Monday through Thursday, and provides short-term, school-based support rather than ongoing therapy. In keeping with EBCHS’s collaborative school culture, staff members may identify students who could benefit from supportive counseling, preferably delivered by a licensed social worker or mental health counselor. Students who need a higher level of care should be referred to the appropriate school staff for follow-up and, when necessary, external services.
