Job summary

Akron Children's is seeking a part-time School Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive health services to students in an onsite setting.Responsibilities include routine and emergency first aid, health record management, and collaboration with school authorities and families.

The role requires a BSN (or to obtain within 5 years), RN licensure, a BLS certification, and 1–2 years of healthcare experience. Experience in school health and pediatrics is preferred, with strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• BSN required or to be obtained within 5 years of hire.
• RN licensure and BLS certification required.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred; pediatric setting preferred.
• Experience in school health setting preferred; MS Office proficiency required.

Education and Experience
