Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES is seeking a Speech Therapist for the Bloomfield Education Center. Compensation reflects a salary range of $52,341–$61,805 based on experience, with September 1, 2026 start date.

Qualifications

• NYS Speech Therapist Certification is required.
• NYS Speech-Language Pathologist license is preferred.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience working with students with autism, emotional and/or developmental disabilities.
• Knowledge of NYS Learning Standards and Assessments.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with students with diverse needs including autism and emotional/developmental disabilities.
• Provide safe, orderly environments conducive to teaching and learning.
• Deliver specialized instruction to students with emotional and learning disabilities.
• Collaborate with colleagues and provide resources to meet student needs.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents.
• Record and report student progress.
