Job summary

Soliant is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathologist to support elementary students in a part-time capacity. You will deliver direct speech-language therapy two days per week in a general education setting, collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to meet IEP goals.

You will prepare individualized treatment plans, document progress, and ensure accurate records while maintaining a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA.
  • Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Previous experience in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children, is highly valued.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work closely with teachers, staff, and families.
  • Efficient documentation and progress reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective speech-language therapy to students in elementary and general education classrooms.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to address students’ IEP goals.
  • Present assessment findings and therapy approaches to colleagues, including Savannah and Jordan.
  • Create individualized treatment plans based on student assessments.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular updates to educational teams and families.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that supports students’ communication growth.
