Job summary

ProCare Therapy seeks an on-site Speech-Language Pathologist for the 26/27 school year near Vero Beach, FL, offering full-time hours and beginning ASAP.

This contract supports K-12 students with direct and consultative therapy, IEP development, and collaboration with families and school staff to advance communication goals.

Qualifications

  • Must have a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Active or eligible Florida SLP license required.
  • CCC-SLP certification preferred; CFY considered.
  • Experience with school-aged children preferred; teletherapy competency a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students K-12 in a school-based setting.
  • Complete assessments, develop and implement IEPs.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports.
  • Work closely with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary team members to support communication goals.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices catering to diverse student needs.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staffings, and relevant professional development.

Job description

This rewarding contract opportunity is available near Vero Beach, FL, offering full-time hours (40 per week) with positions beginning ASAP through May 31, 2027. Collaborate with supportive colleagues, use your expertise to foster communication growth, and play a vital role in helping students reach their potential.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active or eligible Florida SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Consideration given to Clinical Fellows (CFY)
  • Experience with school-aged children strongly preferred
  • Competence in conducting teletherapy and traditional on-site sessions a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and passion for student success
Key Responsibilities:
