Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time contract in a school near Storrs Mansfield, Connecticut. You will assess students, develop IEP-based plans, and provide direct and consultative therapy across grade levels in collaboration with educators and families.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CT SLP licensure (or eligibility), and CCC-SLP is preferred; Clinical Fellows are welcome.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active CT SLP licensure or eligibility.
• CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows welcome.
• Experience in a school setting is valued.
• Ability to perform IEP evaluations and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct S/L, voice, and fluency assessments for students.
• Develop and implement IEP-based treatment plans.
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy across grade levels.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families on progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments and progress.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary discussions.

Make a difference supporting students’ communication needs as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract assignment. This opportunity is located near Storrs Mansfield, Connecticut, where you will work within a school setting, collaborating with educators and families to empower students and help them thrive.

Qualifications and Desired Skills:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure as an SLP in Connecticut (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
• Proficiency in evaluating and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students across grade levels
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families regarding student progress and support needs
