Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services addressing various needs such as articulation, fluency, voice, and social communication.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student eligibility for speech-language services.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and maintain documentation in line with state and federal guidelines.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to foster student success both academically and socially.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Eligibility for Maryland State Board license or currently licensed.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFYs) are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
