Bilingual Therapies is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support middle school students in a Social Communication Program in New Mexico. This contract position offers 18 hours per week and emphasizes collaboration with educators and families.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, an active NM SLP license with NMPED certification, and is open to CF or CCC-SLP credentials. Experience with IEPs and school services is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Active New Mexico state SLP license and NMPED Teacher Certification (required).
• Open to Clinical Fellows (CF) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) holders.
• Solid understanding of school-based SLP services and IEP process.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted speech, language, and social communication therapy to middle school students.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans.
• Use evidence‑based practices to address students’ pragmatic language and social communication needs.
• Work closely with educational teams to support students’ classroom participation and social success.
• Maintain regular documentation and progress reporting in compliance with school and state policies.
• Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development activities.
