Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary students in a school-based contract. The position runs from September 4th through June 25th with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule from 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM (35 hours per week).

The role focuses on delivering direct speech-language therapy services and comprehensive assessments, collaborating with teachers and school-based teams, and maintaining accurate documentation in line with district guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey SLP license (CCC required).
• Proven school-based SLP experience.
• Must be located within a reasonable commute.
• Ability to clear onboarding requirements (TB test, physical, fingerprints).
• Only fully licensed SLPs considered (no CFY/SLPA).

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to elementary students.
• Complete required testing, evaluations, and progress monitoring for assigned caseload.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and school-based teams.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with school/district standards.
• Communicate with staff and families about student progress.

This full-time role runs from September 4th through June 25th, with a consistent MondayFriday schedule from 8:15AM to 3:15PM (35 hours per week). The position focuses on delivering high-quality speech therapy services and assessments to a school-based caseload.

Your experience working within educational settings will help you thrive here, particularly as you'll be navigating the needs of elementary learners. Comfort with district procedures and collaboration with school staff is key, as is your ability to manage a caseload efficiently and professionally.

Key Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey SLP license (CCC required)
• Proven school-based SLP experience
• Confident working with district standards and caseload procedures
• Skilled in conducting assessments, evaluations, and documentation
• Must have reliable personal transportation and be located within a reasonable commute
• Ability to clear onboarding requirements: TB test, physical, and fingerprints for both agency and district
• Only fully licensed SLPs considered (no Clinical Fellows or SLPA due to supervision limits)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to elementary students
