Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a School-based Speech-Language Pathologist to support elementary through high school settings on a contract basis in New Jersey. The role focuses on assessing and treating communication disorders to help students succeed academically and socially.

Qualified candidates hold an active NJ SLP license, experience in school settings, and strong collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families.

Qualifications

• Current NJ Speech-Language Pathology license (active and in good standing).
• Experience or strong interest in school-based SLP settings (elementary, middle, and high school).
• Solid understanding of IEPs and progress documentation.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and provide diagnosis for speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop and facilitate individualized intervention plans for students.
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and parents to monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed.
• Participate in IEP meetings and prepare required documentation and progress reports.
• Educate school staff and families on best communication practices to reinforce student progress.
• Adapt therapy materials to suit various age groups and learning profiles.
