Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a school setting in Washington, DC. You will evaluate students and provide and document therapy per the care plan and physician orders.

This contract–full-time role offers $65 per hour with 37.5 hours weekly. Candidates must hold active SLP licensure in the state; CCC-SLP is preferred; CPR if applicable; health certificate and TB screening as required. Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.

Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in the state of assignment required.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students and provide therapy services in accordance with the plan of care and physician orders.
• Document therapy services per school protocol and plan of care.

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
