Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for the school setting to evaluate students and provide therapy per the plan of care and physician's orders.

Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, delivering and documenting therapy, and ensuring compliance with all relevant standards. Competitive weekly pay and a strong benefits package accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Active SLP licensure in the state of assignment is required.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• CPR current if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform student evaluations in the school setting.
• Provide and document therapy services in accordance with the plan of care and physician's orders.
• Maintain accurate progress notes and records for each student.

Job description

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Elementary

$3,900 every week

Minimum Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
