Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to work in school settings. You will evaluate students and provide therapy while documenting progress and ensuring plans of care align with physician orders.

The role requires active SLP licensure in the assignment state; CCC-SLP may be preferred. CPR and health screenings may be required. Amergis is an equal opportunity employer.

• TB questionnaire or chest x-ray if applicable.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform student evaluations as part of the plan of care.
• Provide and document therapy services per plan of care and physician orders.
• Document services accurately and timely in the student health/education records.

Job description

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
